TOPIC: May I be an MO notary if I have a criminal record?

May I be an MO notary if I have a criminal record? 5 years 4 weeks ago #948

Maybe. If you have a criminal record, you must submit a written statement with your application explaining the charge, when it occurred and any circumstances you wish to be considered, along with any supporting documents. Counsel will review your application and make a recommendation to the Secretary of State regarding your appointment.
